Lavender Essential Oil



Lavender Essential Oil or Lavandin Oil is the oil obtained by steam distillation of recently picked lavender flowers (Lavandula   spp.are Lavandula angustifolia P. Miller, Lavandula latifolia L, Lavandin abrialis or Lavandin grosso)  either   growing   wild   or   cultivated.
Lavender essential oil colour is pale yellow to almost colourless. It has a strongly herbaceous odour which is fresh camphene cineole-like. Lavander essential oil is used in large quantities for a fresh note in perfumes, in soaps and in detergents.
Lavender Oil contains linalyl acetate 27% - 37%, linalool 28%-38% and camphor at 7%/11%.
